I'm going to miss my Cruze Eco
by Joel on 2/7/2026 7:49:33 PM
I've owned it for 15 years, and I'm having a hard time remembering any repairs that I've had to have done to my Chevy Cruze Eco. In full transparency and to be honest, it does leak antifreeze, but just barely - about a gallon goes in over an 8 month period. Between 95 and 97 percent of my miles are highway miles, it's manual transmission and I average 42 miles per gallon. Its trunk is definitely bigger than other cars its size. Only going to sell it because I figure I should try something different after 15 years. Too bad they don't make Cruzes any more, otherwise I would buy a Chevy Cruze Eco again. - 5.0

Decent

If you need a low cost point A to point B car. This car is great for you. Here are the pros -low cost parts -easy to repair -great MPG -comfortable -compact -decent storage -easy to drive Now to cons -oil and coolant leaks up the wazoo - parts in this car degrade fast, I would do all preventative maintenance early and really keep on top of that This car is overall a decent car.
